Relief Without Surgery!
I went to see Dr. Mahoney because I was having horrible pain in my right knee, which made it difficult to walk and impossible to run. After examining me, he had me undergo an MRI, which confirmed that I had a torn meniscus. I told him I wasn’t excited about having surgery, so I received a cortisone shot in my knee to provide amazing relief from the horrible pain. This allowed me to undergo some pretty intense physical therapy for several weeks without a great deal of pain.
Now, just three months later, between my physical therapy and some intentional weight loss, my pain is just a very small fraction of what it was before I saw Dr. Mahoney, and I feel like I’ve got my normal life back. I’m so grateful for the care I received!
