We believe that you or a loved one deserves the best care possible. Since the beginning, Iowa Ortho has provided greater treatment efficiencies and a team-based approach to orthopedic care. With a singular focus, Iowa Ortho is able to offer the majority of its services on an outpatient basis. This means our charges and reimbursement are lower than hospitals or large health systems, which translate into value for our patients as insurance plans typically calculate deductible and coinsurance based on charges.

Not all orthopedic care is outpatient, and we encourage patients to ask their provider so they can make an informed and cost-effective decision about their care.

Iowa Ortho offers a wide range of access to an all-encompassing orthopedic practice, where our providers are both fellowship-trained and board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons (ABOS). Iowa Ortho also offers physical medicine and rehabilitation, access to pain management specialists, as well as a full cast of medical professionals dedicated to orthopedics. We are proud to offer the best care in the finest facilities. Iowa Ortho’s Imaging Center provides the highest quality radiographs (x-rays), advanced digital imaging for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT scan) and Dual X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA scan) for both bone density and body composition testing. The Center of Excellence also features state-of-the-art outpatient surgical suites, developed and designed exclusively for orthopedic patients with convenience and comfort as the central focus.

Pricing Transparency

At Iowa Ortho, our commitment to patient care excellence stems far beyond our exceptional outcomes. We are dedicated to providing clear, concise pricing information to help you better understand the cost of your orthopedic care. If you have questions about the cost of a particular procedure or test, please contact our billing specialists at 515.282.5288. We will work with you to determine the expected common procedural terminology code (CPT) and provide you with an estimate.

Insurance Coverage

If you have insurance coverage, you can provide the CPT code to them for an estimate. Some insurance companies have online tools that can provide you with a cost estimate of your treatment.

No Insurance Coverage

If you do not have insurance, we will use that code to provide you our estimated charges. In addition, our billing specialists can help you make payment arrangements or obtain financial assistance if needed.
