Preparation depends on the type of scan. For most X-rays and body composition scans, no special preparation is needed. For CT, MRI, or DEXA scans, you may receive specific instructions when your appointment is scheduled.

Yes. We have headphones available for your imaging exams as needed.

Yes. Our MRI scanner has an open design. You will be able to see out of the machine, as opposed to the traditional closed tube shape. For severe cases of claustrophobia, our team can coordinate with the ordering physician to have an anti-anxiety medication prescription filled.

This can vary widely depending on the type of exam and patient factors like motion. In a perfect setting, most exams without contrast take 30 minutes or less. If your study has contrast, you can expect your appointment to take 45-60 minutes.
