Ashley

Originally from a small town just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, Ashley French moved to Des Moines to attend Drake University—and quickly discovered that Iowa felt like home. As a licensed occupational therapist, Ashley is passionate about addressing the bigger picture of recovery by focusing on each person’s unique interests and meaningful activities. She believes that true progress happens when therapy is centered around what matters most to the individual.

As part of her doctoral program, Ashley completed a 14-week capstone experience dedicated to advocating for individuals with connective tissue disorders and developing resources to support those impacted by hypermobility. This work deepened her commitment to holistic, patient-centered care.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading, creating art, and spending quality time with friends and family—ideally somewhere by the beach.
