Kyler

Kyler Mulder is a physical therapist at Iowa Ortho Ankeny Physical Therapy. He grew up in Orange City, Iowa. Following graduate school, he and his wife moved to Iowa City, where Kyler spent three years working at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. After gaining valuable experience there, he returned to Des Moines and spent five years serving patients within the UnityPoint Health system. In March 2025, Kyler joined the Iowa Ortho team, bringing with him a strong background in patient-centered care and a passion for helping others.

Kyler chose a career in physical therapy to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives by helping them return to the activities they value most. He enjoys the active nature of the profession and finds great fulfillment in educating patients on how to care for their bodies and improve their overall quality of life.

Outside of work, Kyler stays busy with his three energetic boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through workouts, and diving into conversations about football, food, and shoes.
