About
Morgan

Morgan Welch, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Iowa Ortho, where she works alongside Dr. Chris Vincent to provide comprehensive, patient-centered orthopedic care. With a background in plastic & reconstructive surgery, Morgan brings extensive experience assisting in the operating room and caring for patients throughout their surgical recovery.

Morgan’s passion for orthopedic care is deeply personal. After tearing her ACL and undergoing reconstructive surgery with Dr. Tim Vinyard, she experienced firsthand the challenges of recovering from a serious orthopedic injury. That journey gave her a unique perspective on how injuries can affect every aspect of daily life and reinforced her desire to help others regain their mobility, confidence, and quality of life. She understands the physical and emotional impact of recovery and is dedicated to supporting patients every step of the way as they return to the activities they love.

Morgan believes that building strong relationships with patients is just as important as providing exceptional clinical care. She strives to make every patient feel heard, understood, and valued while taking the time to educate them about their condition, treatment options, and recovery process. By helping patients understand what to expect and why they are experiencing certain symptoms, she empowers them to take an active role in their care and recovery.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys staying active through volleyball, golf, yoga, and fitness classes. She also speaks Spanish, allowing her to communicate with and care for Spanish-speaking patients.
