I fell 30 feet onto my right heel and shattered my calcaneus bone. Dr. Blake Hale performed surgery to reconstruct it on December 4, 2025. He helped me through post-operative care and provided authorization for physical therapy and a temporary handicap parking placard.
Ten months later, I am walking so well that my wife has started complaining again that I walk too fast for her. Stiffness remains and there has been a loss in range of movement, but it is hard to imagine that I could have come through the ordeal in a better condition under any other physician.
