I really like Jared. It had been a really long time since I have seen him or Dr. Avils for my knee. He remembered me and he didn’t dismiss my pain. I am limited on what I can do for pain because I’m on Plavix. He gave me a cortisone shot. It went so smooth I didn’t even know he’d done it. I felt heard about how my knee felt.

Jared is a very caring, knowledgeable health care professional. He helped confirm that my hip arthritis is very mild at this point. He encouraged me to stay active as a senior and eased my mind about resuming my beloved pickleball. Dr. Aviles saved my hip in 2010 with arthroscopic surgery to repair a labral tear. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Iowa Ortho!

I went to Iowa Otho for 2 labral tears in my hip. I saw Jared the PA that works with Dr. Aviles. He was fabulous! Excellent bedside manner, took the time to get to know me, did a through hands on exam, gave me the information I needed for options, and answered all my questions. I felt like he would have taken whatever necessary time I needed and I never felt rushed. He made me feel comfortable and that he cared about me and would do whatever needed to make sure I received the necessary care moving forward. All the staff at Iowa Ortho were wonderful especially Stacy that took me back to the room and did my history plus offered me the option to see PA or Dr. The friendly technician that took my x-rays was also great! Thanks again Jared!! I’m glad to continue to have you as my provider moving forward.

I’ve been working with Jared and Dr. Aviles since 2018 for hip issues and they have always been kind, informational, and you can tell they truly care about what they do. I always feel comfortable and feel like they actually truly listen to my concerns and always has an understanding answer to my questions. Was a great experience I got relief of my knee pain was not able to walk very good going in and was able to walk out without any problems after a shot. Today is the next day and I am still able to walk without pain. Thank you so much for all the help it was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend
