About Melanie
Melanie Choos, PA-C, is an orthopedic physician assistant specializing in acute musculoskeletal care at the Urgent Injury Clinic. She takes a team-based, patient-centered approach to care—helping individuals recover quickly, safely, and return to the activities they enjoy.
Originally from Commack, New York, Melanie earned her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Buffalo and completed her physician assistant training with a master’s degree from Barry University in North Miami, Florida. Though she explored several healthcare paths, she discovered her passion for orthopedics and sports medicine as her career progressed. She finds the greatest reward in helping patients regain mobility and confidence after injury.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys an active family life with her children and two dogs. She stays busy supporting her kids’ activities, enjoys camping, and frequently visits extended family in South Florida.
