Brenna

Brenna is a physical therapist originally from Humboldt, IA, and is currently practicing at the Iowa Ortho Ankeny clinic. She earned her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa.

With nearly 8 years of experience, her clinical background includes general orthopedics, post-operative rehabilitation, sports medicine, and dry needling. She has also served as a team physical therapist for Roosevelt High School for ~ 7 years. She especially enjoys treating shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle conditions, with a particular interest in ACL rehabilitation and overhead athletes.

Brenna enjoys helping patients understand their injury, build confidence in their movement, and return to the activities and sports they love. Whether the goal is getting back on the field, returning to the gym, or simply getting back to every day life, she strives to create an individualized plan that helps each patient feel stronger and more confident throughout their recovery.

Outside of work, Brenna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on walks with her 1 year old puppy Remi, traveling, biking, watching Iowa State games, and cheering on the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
