Lili

Lili Wells, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Iowa Ortho in Ankeny, Iowa. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University and brings extensive experience in outpatient rehabilitation, with a diverse clinical background that spans multiple areas of physical therapy. Prior to joining Iowa Ortho, Lili served as the Rehabilitation Director and an outpatient physical therapist for a local hospital and outpatient clinic in Fairfield, Iowa.

Throughout her career, Lili has been dedicated to providing individualized, patient-centered care while helping patients achieve their functional, mobility, and personal goals. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and has clinical interests in advanced lymphedema management, pelvic health rehabilitation for both men and women, functional dry needling, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), post-surgical rehabilitation, and orthopedic care. She utilizes evidence-based practice and movement-based assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that help patients return to work, recreation, and the activities they enjoy most.

In addition to her clinical practice, Lili is passionate about advancing the physical therapy profession through leadership and education. She has served as President of the Iowa Hospital Association Rehabilitation Managers Association, taught as an adjunct faculty member for both the University of Iowa and Des Moines University, and served on the Medical Advisory Boards for the Indian Hills Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program and Jefferson County Public Health.

Outside of work, Lili enjoys spending time with her husband and son and has a passion for travel and experiencing new cultures. In her free time, she enjoys visiting art museums, reading, hiking, cycling, dancing, attending live music and concerts, and exploring new destinations around the world.
