About James

James grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, where his passion for sports and helping others led him to pursue a career in healthcare. He earned his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Nebraska Wesleyan University and spent several years working as an athletic trainer, providing care for athletes across a variety of sports, including basketball, football, hockey, wrestling, baseball, and track and field. Through these experiences, James developed a strong appreciation for helping individuals recover from injury and return to the activities they enjoy.

After marrying his wife in 2023, James relocated to Des Moines to further his education and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Des Moines University. His background in athletic training and physical therapy allows him to bring a well-rounded approach to patient care.

James enjoys working with a wide variety of patients and is passionate about helping them achieve their movement goals. He values building strong relationships with his patients and empowering them through education, encouragement, and individualized treatment plans that support long-term success.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs. He is always on the lookout for new restaurants to try and proudly remains a dedicated Husker fan. Whether cheering on Nebraska athletics or exploring the Des Moines area, he enjoys making the most of his time with family and friends.
