Tyler

Tyler is a physical therapist at Iowa Ortho’s downtown Des Moines clinic. A native of Adel, Iowa, he attended Adel DeSoto Minburn (ADM) High School, where he competed in baseball, basketball, and football. He went on to earn a degree in Exercise Science from Truman State University while pitching for the university’s baseball team. After experiencing a shoulder injury that required surgery, Tyler was introduced to physical therapy through his own rehabilitation journey. Inspired by the impact of his recovery, he pursued a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Creighton University, where he further developed his passion for helping patients return to the activities they love.
